Sometimes, real personal examples are a good way to demonstrate the incredible flexibility of Internet Marketing.
You hear it all of the time, Internet Marketing can be done anywhere. All you need is a phone or laptop. In fact, it’s one of the big benefits. You don’t need new expensive equipment, most of us already have everything needed.
I usually work on this site in my home office because I need the discipline and structure of separating work and home, if that makes sense. Also, for the last two years, my wife has been caring for her elderly mother.
Internet Marketing is Adaptable as Things Change.
As I write this, it’s Easter Sunday 2025. Since last Monday, Jen’s Mum has rapidly changed to end of life care. It’s all good, she is 92 and we always promised she would die at home. This means she needs 24/7 support, so we have moved in with her. But, here’s the thing, because I store everything online, using cloud services like IceDrive and MediaFire or even Google Drive, all I really need is my laptop. Yes, it’s difficult without my large monitor screen etc, but it’s do-able.
Online Marketing is Portable and Flexible.
And that is really the point of this post. You can do this from anywhere. If you go on holiday but want to keep your business running, you take it with you. I’m not great with doing this on my smart phone, but many do. Your iPad, Tablet, or laptop is all you need, plus an internet connection of course.
And of course, it’s easy to update your social media from anywhere. I’m just about to have a wonder around the garden and film an update for our TikTok account. I film and edit on the CapCut app, then upload to TikTok adding captions, text and keywords, job done.
I can’t think of any other business that has so much flexibility. Whatever form of online business you decide to create, it can be done from anywhere, whatever the circumstances.
