If you ever see anyone telling you that they have an amazing “Side Hustle” that will make £1000’s of dollars with no effort, run the other way.
Doing any type of online marketing will involve 100’s of hours of hard and sometimes frustrating work. But stick with it, the results will be well worth it. Also you will start a job, get side-tracked as I did yesterday when collating my MRR and PLR products and choosing which ones are really relevant and saleable. It’s taking hours of watching and re-watching video courses to see if they are high enough quality, content wise, to be promoted here. Trust me, there is a lot of junk out there.
One course, which has PLR rights (I know that’s 2 x rights) is really excellent, so perfect to re-brand and make it unique to us. I did a lot of research to see if anyone else had re-branded it, not that it would matter if they had and could find nothing, so we’re excited about that. Anyway, see I got side tracked again, I was looking for a good video editing software as the one’s I have on this PC and also my Mac, are just not easy or simple enough to easily use. I had seen a TikToc by “Meg” about creating videos in Canva. Light bulb moment!!
I hopped onto my Canva account and spent the next 4 hours learning how to create videos in Canva. So easy and great results, but I had forgotten that I should have been focussing on my inventory. I’ve now put up a big white board next to my desk so when ideas pop into my head, and they do, all of the time, I write them there to come back too later. So major lesson learnt, focus on one task and finish it before moving on.
The website is nowhere near finished, but I’ve decided to make it live so people can see it being built and improved over time. As I’ve said before, WordPress is my CMS and Newspaper rom TagDiv my theme. Yes it is a premium theme, but it’s what I’m used to. There are hundreds of free themes out there which will all do the job well.
I’ve changed my TikToc name to reflect the business and plan to start my daily posts next week, now that we have something to promote. I’ve also added a category to the site called “The Course”. This will eventually have MRR or PLR products to buy which pretty much cover the main topics needed to start an online business and are the ones we used. The benefit here is , it will be a sort of pay as you go course. If you work through each one you will gain the valuable information and have the product to resell, so a win win. Once I’m happy that everything is covered, we will do a bundle of all of them for a much reduced one off price, so it will be a business in a box, use them to learn and start selling them.

As I’m retired, 70 in six weeks time, I start down here at 06.30 and work on this on and off until about 11.30 pm, so it’s not easy, but well worth it.
